狮子

宫殿门口有很多地方都有狮子，一般有雌雄两头。雌狮脚踩幼狮，寓意母仪天下。雄狮脚踩绣球，寓意一统寰宇。嘎嘎，书上翻译的是“the lion plays with a ball” and “the old is always with the young”。
